The ethos of our team is to provide a wide range of care to our patients both in the surgery and, where appropriate, in the home.

Thanks to the Friends Of The Practice transport scheme many of our patients (who previously only required a home visit due to a lack of transport) are now able to visit the surgery to see a nurse.

The Nurse Team are able to offer appointments for:

• Dressings
• Removal of stitches, clips or staples from wounds
• Weight checks
• Dietary advice
• Blood Pressure Checks
• Well Woman/Man checks
• Routine Blood tests
• plus certain injections - such as:
  • Contraceptive injections
  • Vitamin B12 injections
  • Teenage booster.

Our nurses also play a major part in the Healthy Pulses chronic disease management clinic.
