And this video from Dorset CCG shows how quickly and efficiently so many people have been vaccinated in Dorset.
The Covid vaccination clinics are continuing at The Atrium Health Centre in Dorchester this week for patients having their second Covid vaccination appointments.
Please do not call the surgery to ask when your second vaccination will be. This ensures that our phone lines are kept free for patients who need to book Doctor or Nurse appointments. Please click here to read more about the second vaccinations.
Support is available to help you get to vaccination appointments safely. To speak to someone about the travel support available and possible support towards the cost of a taxi journey, residents in the Dorset Council area should call 01305 221000 or complete the online form. Milton Abbas Neighbourcar may also be able to help you to get to your vaccination appointment. Please leave a message on 01258 470333 and they will call you back.
We will be contacting the rest of our patients in the strict order that the NHS has instructed us to and as our projected deliveries of vaccines allow.
Despite the success of the vaccination clinics, we cannot let our guard down and even those who have received a vaccine still need to follow social distancing and lockdown guidance, which will still save lives.
Thank you to the army of volunteers and staff who have so far made these clinics run very smoothly, and allowed us to provide the first vaccine dose to a huge proportion of our population in such a short space of time.
And thank you as always for your understanding and support.
