Our Health Champions are members of the community who voluntarily give of their time to work alongside us to develop new ways to meet the health needs of our local community, offering local activities to promote health and mental wellbeing. They are part of our Milton Abbas Surgery Wellbeing Team.
Activities on offer so far are:
Line Dancing – Mondays 2.00pm at The Village Hall, Winterborne Whitechurch. Click here for more information.

Nurtured by Nature – Thursday’s (during term time only) 3.00pm at Luccombe Hub Farm. These therapeutic sessions are primarily for adults. If the weather is really wet, the sessions will not run as it can be extremely slippery. You can always call prior to the session to check. Click here for more information.
Paper craft – Fancy trying some papercraft? Make your own cards or scrapbook? Or just fancy some company and a cuppa whilst you work on your own project? Join some of our Wellbeing Team at the Milborne St Andrew Sports Club Pavilion (DT11 0JA) 2pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. Craft material, tea, coffee and biscuits will be available at no charge but donations welcome to cover costs. No need to book, just turn up on the day – they would love to see you!
